An ode to the underwater world, this one-off handcrafted ceramic vase is distinguished by a poetic mermaid-shaped body with her bust serving as a sculptural lid. The intriguing textural detailing and tridimensional sea fauna elements are enhanced by copper and silver luster, whose iridescent quality and color tones stay unchanged thanks to the special Persian technique that employs chlorides, sulfates, and oxides and set with a final firing in a reduction kiln.
