Torre 1 Light-Sculpture

Aptly named tower, this light-sculpture evokes the allure of skyscrapers that dominate a city's night skyline. Part of the Torri series inspired by Giorgio de Chirico' Squares of Italy, it is marked by a square base that rises to hosts a smaller, slender cylindrical element with the LED source that directing the light to the square reflecting top above. The exclusive finish results from applying layers of grey paint with a brush and subsequently sanding and polishing the surface to obtain a soft texture and color. Each piece will be unique and slight variations in colors are to be expected.
