Nomad Silver Hand Woven Rug

The Heavy Metal Rug collection will be presented at the 2017 Salone del Mobile in Milano. The Nomad Silver rug was crafted entirely by hand using only vegetal fibers from the Fucraea Andina tree and strands of tin. The contrast between the opaqueness of the natural fibers and the translucency of the metals create striking three-dimensional textures that are enticing to the touch. The pattern is kept simple in order to highlight the exquisite materials and the consistency of the weaving.
