Metallic Octopus Sculpture

This sculpture in hand-carved Swiss pine wood depicting an octopus sinuously wrapped around a stone is extremely lifelike. The sculpture is hand-painted using natural pigments containing 925 silver leaf, and then lacquered using the Venetian lacquering technique that creates a glossy, almost metallic-looking finish. Replicas of this piece will vary slightly due to its handmade nature.
